TEFL TESOL Course South Korea - Seoul
Explore one of the world's most vibrant economies and experience a unique Asian culture, sitting on the banks of the Han River, Seoul offers visitors both mega modern and
appealingly ancient. Snuggled between 12 lane motorways and towering high-rises you will find a hidden history of ancient temples, magnificent palaces, pagodas and
stunning gardens.
Since hosting the 1988 Olympic Games, Seoul has attracted visitors to a city where old meets new and East and West blend into one. Your studies will take place
in Kangnam at the heart of the city and well served by both underground and a growing bus system. Surrounded by lively restaurants, shops, cinemas and nightclubs this
is one of the major business districts of Korea.
TEFL International Korea has partnered with Hyundai to offer what may well be the most comprehensive teacher-training programme worldwide. Taking advantage of
Hyundai's reputation for corporate training, this programme provides a comprehensive teacher training package combining a 120 TESOL Certificate with additional
Business English Teacher Training Certificate and DVD Resource Pack.
The qualification is awarded jointly by TEFL International, David Nunan, former President of TESOL and Hyundai Research Institute President and CEO Joo-Hyun Kim.
Graduates are offered the first choice of jobs with the Gyunggi Do Education Board. Our centre is surrounded by English Institutes providing opportunities to find
work both in the surrounding districts and throughout the country. The demand for English classes is high and the working conditions are good.

Country Costs
It is possible to survive on a budget of £10 per day in Thailand and this is of course one of the reasons for its popularity
amongst tourists and travellers. Thai food and drink is cheap and basic accommodation is abundant. Costs will rise if you want to
eat Western food and stay in more expansive resorts and hotels. It is possible to find worthwhile entertainment to meet even the most
stringent of budgets.
Visa Requirements
Visitors to Thailand are required to have a passport valid for at least six months from the date of arrival. Student entry is permitted
on a Tourist Visa allowing you to stay for a maximum of sixty days. This can be extended for an additional thirty days at the discretion
of the Thai Immigration Office. Holders of Tourist Visas are required to enter the country within ninety days of the visa being issued.
On entering Thailand you may be asked to prove that you are in possession of a ticket for return or onward travel. In addition, you may be asked
to prove that you have sufficient funds to cover the cost of your stay. Please note that you are required to pay a departure tax before you
are able to leave Thailand.
Health & Safety
The standard of health care is surprisingly high in Thailand especially in areas with a high tourist population. Whilst vaccinations
are not strictly necessary for entry into Thailand it is advisable to consult your doctor regarding anti-malaria medications well in
advance of your departure.
The risk of violent crime in Thailand is one of the lowest in South East Asia although petty theft and street crime does occur in many areas.
Visitors to the country are advised to take out insurance coverage and to exercise common sense and caution with personal possessions.
Directions to reach TEFL
Grab a subway map and let-s do some navigation...
The yellow line (also known as the Bundang line) takes you to the southern suburbs of Seoul. Find the station called "Jeongja",
is the 3rd last from the end of the line called "Ori".
Use either exit number 1 or 2. These exits face each other outside. There will be a pedestrian's bridge on your right or left side
(depending on the exit you use). Cross the bridge, and make it right as you step out of it without crossing the road.
Walk to the next traffic light. Cross the intersection straight, without changing directions. You are still walking with the river
promenade on your right hand side.
The very first T-intersection you will find will be an uphill street to your left. Cross the street and go up the hill
walking on the left side of this street. You have mostly apartment buildings on your left and small buildings with businesses
on the right side.
As you walk uphill, our building will appear at the first intersection, standing on your left side. The building name is
"Bundang Town". It has the sign "LLS" among other signs showing in the high part of the building, this
"hakwon" is TEFLInternational's host. This is a commercial building and next to it there is a second one very
similar, facing a major street.
Come to the 4th floor and find "LLS".
Though it might sound a little complicated, once you have come for the first time it is easy to remember.
